Mrs. Mary Bors

March 13, 1926 - February 18, 2010

Mary Bors went to be with Our Lord on Thursday morning, February 18, 2010 at Wilson Memorial Hospital
She was predeceased by her daughter, Caryl Bors; three brothers, Nicholas, Frank and William Chebiniak; and a niece, Linda Youmans.
Mary is survived by her husband, Peter Bors, a son and daughter-in-law, David and Margaret Bors,all of Johnson City a granddaughter, Cynthia Bors of Brooklyn, a brother, Paul Chebiniak, a sister, Mrs. Charles (Jane) Ellsworth both of Johnson City and many nieces and nephews.
She was a retired employee of the General-Electric Company, Westover.
Mary will be remembered for making ethnic foods, crocheting, traveling and making chicken and beef soups and pickles.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Lourdes Hospice staff and volunteers and to the nurses and aides at Wilson Memorial South Tower Fifth Floor for their excellent and compassionate care.

Funeral Information

The family will receive friends at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street Binghamton on Sunday 2-5 pm. Funeral services will be held Monday 10am at the funeral home with Pastor Ronald Piedmonte officiating. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Vestal.
